Calendar from iCal
Create a new connector profile by logging into the pascom Web UI and navigating to > > .
Select the option iCal-Calendar and enter the following information:
Field | Description |
---|---|
Name | Connector profile name |
After saving, the template can be modified according to requirements under the tab .
Basic Data
Under the basic data tab, you can configure your LDAP connection more precisely or update the previously configured settings.
Field | Description |
---|---|
Name | Connector profile name |
Source | (will be filled automatically) |
Automation | Select an interval at which the import should be carried out |
ICS File URL | insert the URL under which your .ics file is accessible |
The URL must contain an explicit path to your .ics calendar file. This is the only way the file can be read and imported by the connector.
Important notes
- Only “whole days ” are imported (no dates of e.g. 2 hours)
- Dates in the past are not imported.
- Each import overwrites the previous data
Test and Activate the Import Process
After you have finalised your configuration, you can test the connector profile to determine which datasets will be imported using the button. Once you are satisfied with the results, it is possible to either perform a one off import using the > option or automate the import to be performed at regular intervals by clicking the button.
Calendar action condition
At the same time, an associated action condition is created for calendar queries, which you can use as a “condition” for checking rest days or public holidays, for example.
